Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to contact me at info@lymph-physio.ca or 604-332-1266 if your questions are not answered here.

1

Do I need a doctor's referral to attend Physiotherapy?

No, a doctor's referral is not required to attend physiotherapy. If you have extended benefits, your insurance company may require a prescription, but every plan is different so please check with them directly.

2

Do you direct bill to my extended medical insurance?

At this time we are only direct billing to Pacific Blue Cross, however we are planning on adding more companies soon, and will update the website when we do. Please bring your PBC card to your appointment so that we can input your info, or you can input it yourself on the intake form online.

3

Do you treat ICB or WSBC clients?

No, we do not accept ICBC or WSBC clients.

4

Do you bill to MSP Premium Assistance?

No, we do not bill to MSP Premium Assistance at this time.

Update May 4, 2025

I'm currently booking new clients 4-8 weeks from time of contact. If you'd like a referral to another cancer rehab physio, please use the form below and I can refer you to someone else. Other lymphedema therapists can be found at www.bclymph.org. If you'd like to wait for me, I can put you on my cancellation list and hopefully something will open up sooner. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
